  1. Sender: This is you, the person who initiates the message. You have a thought or idea you want to share.
  2. Message: This is the actual information, idea, or feeling you want to convey. It can be verbal (words), nonverbal (body language, tone), or written.
  3. Encoding: You translate your message into a form that can be understood by others. For example, you choose specific words, gestures, or facial expressions.
  4. Channel: This is the medium through which your message travels. It could be face-to-face conversation, a phone call, email, text message, or even a presentation.
  5. Receiver: This is the person (or people) who get your message.
  6. Decoding: The receiver interprets your message, trying to understand its meaning. They translate the words, gestures, or images back into thoughts.
  7. Feedback: The receiver's response to your message. This lets you know if your message was understood. Feedback can be verbal (a reply) or nonverbal (a nod, a confused look).
  8. Noise: Anything that interferes with the message getting from the sender to the receiver. This could be actual sound, distractions, misunderstandings due to different cultural backgrounds, or even just a bad internet connection.
