Delete your StudyAI account

Applies to the StudyAI web app and the StudyAI Android app.

Delete it yourself, from inside the app

Sign in and open Profile.
Scroll to Danger zone → Delete account.
Type your email address to confirm.

Deletion runs immediately. You are signed out, and the account cannot be recovered.

Or ask us to delete it

If you can no longer sign in, email support@my-study-ai.com from the address on the account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify ownership of the address and then delete the account. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your account record, email address and password hash
Every study plan, note, quiz, quiz result and flashcard deck you created
Documents and past papers you uploaded, and the text extracted from them
Generated lesson audio and video exports
Your streak history, reminders and push-notification subscriptions

What we keep, and for how long

Billing and payment records — retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 7 years). These are held by our payment processors and contain no study content.
Notes you chose to publish to the public Campus Hub are unlinked from your account and may remain published. Ask us in your deletion email if you want those taken down too.
Aggregated, non-identifying usage counts that cannot be traced back to you.

Routine backups are rotated out within 30 days of deletion.

Cancel a subscription without deleting

If you only want to stop being billed, cancel from Profile → Subscription. Your account and study material stay put.
